Put a mug of rice and two cups of hot water in a pan. Pour a drizzle of olive oil and salt to taste. Let the rice cook with the lid covering 2/3 of the pan, over medium heat. After 8 minutes or when you no longer see water in the pan reduce the heat to a minimum and remove the lid. Let the rice another 2 to 3 minutes. In the end, you will have a bowl of perfect rice.
