One way to keep herbs so you can use them all year round is to dry them. The drying of aromatic herbs should start as soon as possible after the harvest. The leaves of the plants after being separated from the body of the plant begin to decompose, losing aroma and medicinal properties. Herbs leaves should be stored in a container well-ventilated at room temperature between 21 and 34ºC. Aromatic herbs may be kept for up to 18 months when stored in containers and protected from light.
